At the school that my daughter will be going to in September, there canteen is horrendous. Things like pies, chips, pizza, cakes. She has been told in no uncertain terms that she will be taking a packed lunch.

Of course the trick is keeping the lunches interesting enough so that they'll eat them!!

Amber seems quite happy with sandwiches, she'd eat them at every meal going

You're lucky then, mine hated them and they usually came home uneaten unless I put something naughty on them like jam or honey!!

Give Amber a chicken or turkey sandwich, she's as happy as a pig in pooh. I think she prefers sandwiches as that means that she might not have to eat vegetables

I remember just wanting to get my lunch eaten so I could get outside on the playground and have fun.

I remember just wanting to get my lunch eaten so I could get outside on the playground and have fun. She seems to be exactly the same
