I found this video truly inspiring and have added green juice to my health program although I haven't gone so far as to do the juice fast thing.
My hot tip, always include a wedge of lemon or lime and it tastes great!

Over the past few years I've gained 20kg, which I am now trying to shed. This juice is an intriguing idea I've not heard of before. I'm now keen on trying some. Hopefully it doesn't taste like the toxic waste it appears to be.
Cheers for sharing this Willow, I'll certainly try adding some lemon as well.

If you google juicing there's lots of good sites with recipes and ideas
My daily staple juice is as follows
2 tomatoes 2 or 3 spinach or kale leaves About a finer length of cucumber A wedge of lemon or lime
And depending on at else I have, I might add celery or a quarter piece of capsicum
If you want it sweeter add apple or pear

Sounds good apart from the tomatoes. -yuck!-
I imagine something juicy like tomatoes is needed though, so I'll browse the net for alternatives. Cheers.

Well...
I was pretty enthusiastic about making my own juice, so bought a George Foreman juicer today. I thought I would try a fruit juice (plus carrot) first to see how it goes. 5 minutes after taking it out of the box my room-mate breaks it trying to take the lid off. -.-
I can still use it, but it is kind of awkward. I plan on getting it replaced or returned tomorrow.
I spent five minutes peeling and cutting up fruit and carrots, a couple of minutes blending it, two seconds to drink it, and about ten minutes just to clean the damn thing.
I'm still undecided about whether it is worth using a juicer or not, it may be that the more I use it, the more efficient/fast it becomes to make some juice. I suppose I could make up a couple of litres in one go to keep in the refrigerator to save time.
Vegetables may be a bit quicker as well, fruits have too many rinds/seeds/skins/stems etc.

If you can exchange it pay a bit more get one with a BIG feeder spout so you dont have to cut up much. Wash anything with skin that can be eaten and dont peel eg apples, pears, cucumber etc
I can get whole tomatoes in mine
