Great photos Willow!
I wouldn't trust the monkey's expression... I remember as a child I walked up to a monkey and offered it a peanut. It took the peanut then threw it away and grabbed my finger while laughing... Traumatised for life.......

Great pictures Willow. Havn't been to the zoo for a couple of years. Have to agree with Mum that they are great pics. I haven't been to be Adelaide Zoo in about 4 years, and prior to that it must be at least 10 years. There is no way you get me back to that zoo in this life time, as I have always been very disappointed in the Adelaide Zoo. Until they get to the standards to something like the Sydney or Melbourne zoos. They also charge too much for something that is not good at all.

I'm sorry you don't like the Adelaide Zoo - there are still some cages that could do with revamping but otherwise I think its great. Adelaide Zoo is also the only mainly privately owned and funded State zoo so they do pretty well - I just love watching the animals

I have to admit that the cages they have revamped are quite impressive. But I suppose that with going to the Melbourne and Sydney zoos have totally put me off the Adelaide Zoo. When I went last about 4 years ago, it wasn't too bad, but wasn't impressed either. Mind you the zoo isn't the same without an elephant. I could sit down in front of the primate area, or if they had an elephant, all day and watch them.

I went to the zoo when I was last in Chicage and it doesnt charge any entrance fees. They get their money from car parking fees but as we went on the bus it didnt cost anything. By the way it was an excellent zoo.
