Hmmm.... I'll be headed to pick up my nephew again tomorrow.... do some shopping in Sam's... (my son needs a new mattress, I'm buying him a new bed, too, because he's outgrown the old one, LOL) I have a "Yard Tool Party" to go to tomorrow evening..... which is a housewarming that ASKS for yard tools...... personally I think it's a little on the tacky side..... but whatever.....LOL Since it's close to where I'll pick up my nephew, I think I'll just drop off my gifts and go get him..... I'm gonna make more jelly..... I have mayhaw juice and blueberries..... so I'll be doing that..... I made 10 jars of blueberry jelly last night, and MAN IS IT GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!! Of course, I'll be in the garden, when it dries --- WE FINALLY GOT SOME RAIN!!!! WOOHOOOO!!! I have to work 8-hour days next week, Mon - Fri, because we have a holiday (July 4th) on Friday. When there's a holiday during the week, I have to revert back to 8's instead of my normal 10-hour days. And all because someone griped that "it wasn't fair".... PUH-LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE....... So that's what I'll be up to.......

How many hours a week are you employed to work? 40, but working 10 hour days, they could actually bump my days around and I'd still work the same 40 while everyone else worked 32... they weren't very smart in their complaining. LOL

This always manages to confuse me... when are you Yanks going to start calling it jam? Dear one.... I make jam too... but there is a difference in jelly and jam. Jelly is made with only the liquid, that has been strained from pulverized (or not) fruit. Jam is made from the fruit as well as the liquid of the fruit. Jam is much thicker than jelly but I tend to lean toward jelly as I have a "thing" with textures. I made 10 jars of mayhaw jelly this past weekend.... during one of the short naps the baby took. He was brought to me on Friday evening, about 30 min. after I got home. He was already sick... his nose was runny, his eyes red and itchy/swollen-looking... poor thing.... I started giving him cold meds right away, and a good warm bath in gg's sink. LOL He's such a good baby... he doesn't cry much, but when he isn't feeling well, he's very.... "leechy".... He didn't sleep Friday night, and Saturday night wasn't much better, which meant that I didn't sleep either. I come to work today on the notion of sleep. *yawn* I told his mother about the weekend, and about how much better he was doing, but that he still had a slight cough. It wasn't often that he coughs but when he does it sounds like it's coming from his chest. I told her to take him to the doctor if he coughs at all last night. I called her very late, and she said he went right to sleep (with the bottle I laced with cold meds) and there was no coughing but that she'd listen for it. Soooooooo....... today I have a few things to take care of outside the office..... but I'll be back later. I hope you're all well.... and I'll see ya when I get back!

We use the word conserve instead of jelly.
You have to give the Senior One some slack because he's so old and of course a mere male.
If all else fails draw him some pictures and/or little feet on the floor so he can find his way.
