Wanted: faithful charger
Every time I replace an electronic item I get a new battery charger that is slightly different from the one it is replacing. Is it not possible for an item as simple as a battery charger to have a degree of standardisation such that the old ones do not immediately become e-waste?

He's right though... you'd think the silly buggers would standardize the things.

The late Senator John Button standardised a number of Automotive components under the bonnet of cars, surely the same can be done with mobile phones and other similar items.
