Instead of being sacked ("Naked surprise after teacher sacked for saucy shoot", May 10-11), the teacher in question should have been praised for bringing such an innovative "show and tell" to the biology class.

The primary school teacher sacked for appearing "nude" in Cleo, quite rightly, has no regrets about doing the feature. However, she should be rueful about spoiling her appearance with the bad art that is so representative in tattoos these days.

Naked truth about mag shot
So a teacher is to be sacked because she appeared nude in a magazine (Letters, May 12). The pages she appeared in were in a sealed section of the magazine, so my question to the parents who objected is this: how did the children get to see the pictures if you didn't hold them up and say, "Hey kids, here's a picture of your teacher"?
