Put the brakes on it
Now that cruise-control technology is available, why are car makers allowed to sell a machine that allows people to break the law? Is there any reason a car cannot be fitted with a device that stops it being used in excess of the top speed limit? Could some engineer enlighten me as to why we still allow cars to be sold that can travel up to 200kmh?

Supposedly so that the Canadians can drive fast! When I was in Canada, those people tailgated me, evidently I was driving too slow. I know I had to get use to the km and not mph.

I would guess that most countries in the world are now on the metric system.
When's the USA going to catch up BEG?
