There was a time when this was exactly what I wanted, but it’s too complicated for me now and I’m content with the four seasons I have in a yard I can barely manage: Mercifully, my mower’s batteries last only an hour. It takes four days to mow. My garden was a sixteen foot strip of wound circles of soaker hose between concrete blocks supporting old two by fours for tomatoes, eggplant, basil, lettuce, and green beans. They did great in the hottest and driest summer of memory. I don’t bother buying tomatoes from the store, so incredibly tasteless and mushy rotten as they are.
