I'll never be able to form the words that tell you all what a good man, a good father, a fine person this man was. His legacy will live on in the way he lived, for sure. And everyone that knew him will miss him. Rest in peace, Mike.

DeBRULAR JAMES MICHAEL DeBRULAR (Age 56) Of Fairfax, VA, died November 20, 2008, from injuries sustained in a hunting accident. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, November 13, 1952, to Jim and Edna DeBrular, who preceded him in death. He worked in the DC area for 30 years as a general contractor and was highly respected for his craftsmanship. The family also spends time at their family farm in Brookneal, VA. He is survived by his wife, Laura Lewis DeBrular; sons, James Richard DeBrular (8) and Samuel Glyn DeBrular (6); step-son, Clint DeBrular; daughter-in-law, Alana Wester of Denver, Colorado; and three grandchildren, Hayley, Jackson and Eli. He is also survived by sisters, Nancy DeBrular Richardson (Fred) of Phoenix, AZ and Naomi DeBrular Foote (Roger) of Winston-Salem, NC; an uncle, John Thomas DeBrular (Geraldine) of Cromwell, IN; an aunt, Helen Beers of Gray Court, SC; many loved ones and countless friends, all of whom will miss his fine mind, thoughtfulness, caring and spot-on sense of humor. A memorial service will be held at Fairfax Presbyterian Church, Fairfax, VA at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25.
