Christ said forgive 7X70 times.
THat is 490 times .
Can you list 490 times when the American cheek has been bruised cliff?
If you can perhaps your opinion will carry more weight with me.

I can think of at least 2752 from the attack upon the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001. Just a warning, I weigh a lot. <grin>

Christ said forgive 7X70 times. Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Mat 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Mat 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.Yes, Jesus said to forgive your BROTHER that much. He didn't say anything about allowing strangers to come to your land and kill your beloved ... Forgiveness is a great thing, and I believe without Christ, it isn't even possible to do. But forgetting? There's not a human being born who is capable of that little miracle --- and I don't think any of us should forget what we've lost, or stand to lose.

But when did he call upon the angels of heaven to destroy the Romans? They had came to the Jewish homeland, and killed many innocent people. Even has he hung on the cross, he said "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do".
