What local news paper do you take, and do you? Why do you and why do you not? I think most here whould agree we don't get 100% unbiased information from any one source. I go online and read the Dallas Morning for local news and the News and Leader out of Springfield MO to keep up my home town area. www.dallasnews.com/www.news-leader.com/apps/pbcs.dll/frontpage

I hit Drudge and the Springfield News Leader as well. Here's a great site for newspapers, radio or TV web address. www.newslink.org/

I only buy the newspaper on Sunday now. I pick up a lot of worldly news and info on this Forum. Sometimes I pick up too much information! We have a local newspaper - The Messenger delivered free once a week. Flick through that quickly to see what's going on in the community. As almost everything can be read over the www, I don't save much time for reading hard copies of anything these days.

Do tell Cliff! I get a local newspaper everyday. I live in an area that still cares about American/s and people voice their opinions in the letter to the editor section of the paper on all kinds of topics. Every once in a while the paper gets a "liberal" viewpoint (these people write in from other states and do not live here) and then bam! people write in and blast that person's thoughts! That is always amusing!

BEG, care to post a link? I find it fascinating to read the different view points around the world in news papers when we travel.
