Any head colds there? Do you guys get to go to the doctor with fairly few charges? LIke money? Well it has been 36c (97f) today but it is down to 28c (82f) though last week it got up to 45c (113f) last week it only lasted a few hours before dropping back to 26c (79f) within half an hour. The Drought is still going on some areas and over in others but those areas in drought have been without significant rain for 10 or even 20 years. It does not help that the Government is giving what water there is in some areas to coal mines at the cost to the farmers. No significant colds or other illnesses at the moment and as for the Doctors I am lucky enough to have one who Bulk Bills so I do not pay to see him at all. Some other Doctors however do not Bulk Bill and can charge as much as $90 per visit even to pensioners.

That's a bounce in weather, too, and pretty dang warm temperatures. You are what appears to me to be so close to Antartica, do your winters get cold, too? 10 to 20 years of drought. My stars. Since the government takes from farmers to give to corporations, are you guys under a fascist type rule, too? We sure are. And working hard to figure out how to get out of it. We democrats are cleaning out our corporate owned officials. So, what happens when they bulk bills? Does that get sent to the government to pay? HAve you had health care for all with taxes paying for it and are now going to for profit health care?
Glad you are not sick, Cullyn. Glad this is still open. I'll be back.

With Normal Billing you pay the Doctor's Fee and then take the receipt to your Health Insurance, or medicare for those without health insurance. They pay the prescribed amount but while the rebate is fixed doctors can charge what they like so you may get 75% of your money back or less than 50% depending on your doctor. With Bulk Billing the Doctor lists all the patients he has seen in a day along with the cost, the rebate is paid directly to the doctor for all the patients. This is cheaper than processing one claim at a time so the patient has no co-payment. Many doctors do not like this as the fees they can charge is limited to whatever Medicare will pay them. The Doctor Nick and I see Bulk Bills anyone with a Health Care Card (Pensioners, unemployed and low income earners) while everyone else has to make a Payment of $75.00 which they then claim back. Well they get around 75% of that back.

Well they get around 75% of that back. That sounds a lot more reasonable than ours. SOME workers have health care, but it could have a deductible of $1,000 to $2,000. That means, the first 1 to 2 thousand dollars of any thing medical is what you pay for. Actually, it's not for vision nor dental. MOST Americans have NO vision nor dental plans. The rich here are freaking out as democratic candidates are talking about Medicare for All or Universal health care. They think and use the argument it will create too much unemployment cutting out the insurance industry to which Americans just laugh; the rich never cared about unemployment before.
