Great to see you back Sharon. How has life been treating you? Thank u all for the welcome back How has life been treating me................. in April i lost Phoebe my cat but in May I got Mary Kate who is more of a child than my son is lol. Also in May I was struck down with sciatica...again. September, Kye started first school and Amber started High School. I have to say they are both doing incredibly well and Kye's teacher has said that we have a very bright boy on our hands During that time i also managed to put myself through a self inflicted drug withdrawal... all because i hate taking tablets and decided to stop. I now know what a drug addict feels like when they withdraw.... it really is the most awful feeling in the world. October, well that was an emotional month. I dont know if anybody remembers but my mother, stepfather and sisters disowned me many moons ago. My mothers family live away and because of the rift and the distance I had no contact with them. I got a phone call from an uncle to say that my nanny probably didnt have long to live and wanted to speak to me. I have never felt so shell shocked before, it was a bitter sweet phone call. However, the next day Keith, Amber, Kye and myself went to stay with other relatives that we hadnt seen or spoken to in 10years. They made us feel very welcome and explained that nobody felt that they could contact me for fear of reprisal from my mum. To cut a long story short.... i am now still in contact with my relatives and my nanny is very poorly but is still with us. My mother is aware of the fact that i have seen my nanny. November, my daughter is turning into a woman and im really happy to say that she spoke to me about it. My 1 fear is that she couldnt or wouldnt speak to me about these changes, as I couldnt with my mother. I also finally managed to complete my NVQ in Children's Care and Learning Development. That was a relief to have finally completed it and as much as i hated studying i have to say i miss it. December, my babies turned 5 and 12 and they both look really grown up. Sorry for the long missive lol

Thanks for the update Sharon - glad to hear you are in contact with the rest of your family despite the rift with your mother
