I've made these for my family and they like them most of all for breakfast, but I guess you can eat them anytime... Epi... don't pass out, I used a store-bought pie crust because I was short on time..... but this only goes to show, even if you don't like to cook, or can't cook... you can still make a quiche. QUICHE1 pie crust 6 eggs, scrambled Seasonings - if you like, but I didn't use ANY at all. The next few items are "optional", but this is what I used: 1 teaspoon freshly ground parsley 1/2 pound ground sausage 1/2 medium onion, diced 2 or 3 mushrooms, sliced or diced 1/2 small eggplant, diced 2 or 3 oz. cheddar cheese (I use smoked cheddar) 1/2 medium bell pepper (gold, purple, red or green) Any other veggie you'd like to try in this is up to you. First.... gather your ingredients. Mushrooms - these were dehydrated, I'm rehydrating them. Dehydrated bell peppers, being rehydrated. Eggplant, onion... Pork sausage... All mixed in pan, cooking... 6 eggs per pie - also, scramble in 1/4 cup cold water with eggs to make "fluffy"... Pour some cooked "mixture" into pie shell... Grate some cheese.... Put on top of mixture... Cover with scrambled eggs.... Surround edges of pie crust with tin foil... (then sprinkle parsley on top)... Three baking at once... Voila!

Trying to kill me Kim? Awww no... why? Can't you have eggs, z? And thank you, Steve... it's SO easy. I bet Jules will like this one, sans sausage. LOL OH! I forgot.... preheat oven to 375°... let bake for 15 minutes..... increase heat to 400°... bake until "pie" does not "jiggle" anymore and crust is golden brown underneath foil.

This is a very quick way to make a fantastic quiche. Its sooo delicious. A real winner for the family to enjoy. I got this recipe from a friend who uses it all the time. Thanks suzzie! This is a definite pass-around recipe to all your friends.
SERVES 4 -6 (change servings and units)
Ingredients
4 eggs salt and pepper 1 onion, finely chopped 3 slices bacon, finely chopped 1 1/2 cups milk 1-2 cup cheese, grated 1/2 cup self raising flour
Directions
1Combine milk, eggs salt and pepper.
2In a mixing bowl place flour, bacon, cheese and onion.
3Stir and toss until all ingredients are coated in flour.
4Pour egg/milk mixture into the dry ingredients bowl.
5Stir until all combined.
6Pour into a greased quiche plate and back in the oven on 200°C (~375°F) for 45 minutes,.
7turning plate around once towards the end of cooking time to allow to brown evenly.
8My Variation - use ham instead of bacon plus add a few cups of steamed veggies.
9Also you could substitute half of the milk with cream.
