Get real girls....... "Burp" That's better. I know the bottom is beer...LOL!!! This old dog knows some tricks..but what's the top dish, Chips? Colloquially (I hope thats how it is spelled) it is known as a Maggot bag to all you it is the ubiquitious "Australian Meat pie". good quality pies do not require Tomato Sauce however it is the usual topping. Except in some places in Adelaide where it is placed upside down in a bowl of pea soup and is called a "floater"

I have an old traditional cookbook with lots of old Australian recipes for such things as
Port Adelaide Pie,
Kangaroo tail soup
Baked Snapper
Stewed Bandicoot
Roast Mallee Hen
Roast Black Swan
Roast Wallaby
While the Majority of these would almost be impossible to eat due to the animals being now protected I have had the oppertunity to eat some of them and they were very tasty.
For those that want to know the Port Adelaide Pies main ingredients are Parakeets which we surmise as either Budgies or Rosellas and require a dozen of said birds.
