Bought a micky of vodka yesterday.. and put 2 vanilla beans one from Madagascar & one from Tahitia.. should be interesting to watch come to be.. Here PURE vanilla sells for $5. + for 1.5 oz or 46mls. the micky cost $6.55 for Smirnoff 200mls.. beans .65 each quite a savings.. and I love Pure vanilla to bake with.. might put a tad behind my ears too..

How long do you have to watch it for? Multicultural vanilla!
Send a bottle to Chips, I'm sure he'll taste it for you.

Well its gets stronger with the amount of time its allowed to sit.. I shake it everyday.. and today its tipping a light amber.. so I suspect in a months time it will be ready to use..
Chips.. obviously you don't cook much or you'd know there is NO substitute for Pure REAL Vanilla.. and on a personal note.. I am more a " Southern Comfort " or " Baileys Irish Cream " kinda Gal .. over just gin or vodka or rum..

Chips.. obviously you don't cook much I actually cook two, three times a week, each time providing my missus with a gourmet meal. What do I get in return? Plain old meat and veg with the excuse, "We had gourmet yesterday"
